The Pittsburgh Steelers will have to decide whether to activate the option on Mike Tomlin’s contract for 2027 by March 1, 2026, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Tomlin has two years remaining on his contract after this season, though 2026 could be the last year on his deal if the Steelers elect to decline his option.
The longtime Steelers coach is not expected to be fired, though there will be meetings and a review that takes place after the season, Schefter adds.
