The Cincinnati Bengals announced on Monday that the team waived 2024 third-round pick Jermaine Burton. The 24-year-old wide receiver was suspended for Sunday’s game against the Bills for unspecified reasons and didn’t make the trip to Buffalo.
Burton has had a rocky tenure in Cincinnati since being drafted out of Alabama. He played in 14 games in his rookie season, catching four passes for 107 yards, but was inactive for every game this year.
