The Las Vegas Raiders placed star pass-rusher Maxx Crosby on injured reserve Saturday, ending his 2025 campaign.
“We have made the decision to place Maxx Crosby on the reserve/injured list for the remainder of the 2025 season,” the team said in a statement. “After deliberate and through consultation with multiple top medical professionals, it became clear that this decision is in the best interest of both the franchise and the player.”
The announcement comes after Crosby left the team’s facility Friday following a disagreement over its decision to hold him out of the final two regular-season games. Head coach Pete Carroll said that he’d spoken with Crosby four times prior to his departure, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
