Veteran wide receiver Adam Thielen announced his retirement from the NFL on Wednesday.
“What a ride it has been! 13 years, what a blessing,” Thielen wrote in an Instagram story obtained by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. “(I) have been blessed with so many great relationships and mentors over the years that I am forever grateful for. Thank you to everyone who has supported me through the years. It has meant everything to my family and I.”
Thielen, who spent the majority of his career with the Minnesota Vikings after signing with the team as an undrafted free agent in 2013, ended his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers this season.
