The Tennessee Titans will hire former New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll as their offensive coordinator as long as the Las Vegas Raiders don’t make him their head coach, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Daboll, who’s reportedly completed two interviews with the Raiders, would join a Titans staff led by new head coach Robert Saleh. There’s an “understanding in coaching circles” that Daboll promised Saleh he’d join him in Tennessee unless he gets a head coaching job, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports.
Daboll posted a 20-40-1 record as head coach of the Giants from 2022-25 with one playoff appearance. However, he has a track record of aiding quarterback development. He served as Josh Allen’s offensive coordinator from the quarterback’s rookie season through 2021. He was also in charge of the Giants during Daniel Jones’ best season in 2022.
