Arizona will induct Caleb Love into its Ring of Honor at halftime of Saturday’s men’s basketball game on Feb. 14 at McKale Center, capping a full day of events that includes a national morning pregame broadcast, a women’s game vs. ASU, and the men’s matchup against Texas Tech.
Head coach Tommy Lloyd called the ceremony meaningful for both Love and the program, describing Love as a defining figure in recent Wildcats history. The day begins with fans lining up at 7:00 a.m. ET for the 10 a.m.–noon national broadcast, followed by the women’s game at 2 p.m. ET and the men’s tip at 6:30 p.m. ET, with the induction taking place at halftime.
Lloyd also teased a festive atmosphere, including a celebrity DJ appearance and his own participation in the morning show.
Love earned the honor after averaging 17.6 points per game over two seasons, winning conference Player of the Year in 2024, setting a program NCAA Tournament single-game scoring record with 35 points, and receiving national recognition as a shooting guard. Coaches and teammates cite his scoring ability, clutch performances, and leadership as key reasons for the Ring of Honor selection.
Fans can expect a packed, celebratory day highlighting both Arizona’s current success and Love’s lasting legacy.
