The Dallas Cowboys agreed to a three-year, $24-million contract with running back Javonte Williams, the team announced Saturday.
Williams will receive $16 million guaranteed as part of his deal, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. The 25-year-old was set to become a free agent ahead of the new league year.
The North Carolina product joined the Cowboys on a one-year pact in March 2025 following four seasons with the Denver Broncos.
After averaging 3.7 yards per carry in 2024, Williams turned things around in Dallas, rushing for a career-high 1,201 yards, 4.8 yards per carry, and 11 touchdowns last season. He also hauled in 35 catches for 137 yards and two scores.
