Houston Texans general manager Nick Caserio dismissed rumors about possibly trading quarterback C.J. Stroud, calling the speculation “moronic,” per KPRC 2 Houston’s Aaron Wilson.
“He’s our quarterback, he ain’t going anywhere,” Caserio told reporters Tuesday at the NFL Scouting Combine.
“We have a lot of confidence, a lot of belief. I will say that the philosophy that (head coach) DeMeco (Ryans) and I have is that we’re going to support our players and do everything we can to help them. This league is about ups and downs. Nothing is perfect.”
