Four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers is in no rush to decide whether he’ll return to the Pittsburgh Steelers for a second season.
The future Hall of Fame quarterback led Pittsburgh to a 10-7 record last season en route to helping the team capture its first division title since 2020. But the 42-year-old hasn’t yet provided a definitive answer on his potential retirement.
“I’ve talked to (head coach) Mike (McCarthy), I’ve talked to (general manager) Omar (Khan). There’s been no deadline that’s been put in front of me,” Rodgers said Wednesday on “The Pat McAfee Show.” “There’s no contract offer or anything, so there’s nothing I’m having to debate between. I’m a free agent. Again, I’m enjoying my time with my wife and enjoying this part of the offseason. I think there’s conversations to be had down the line.”
