The Los Angeles Chargers signed running back Keaton Mitchell, the team announced Thursday.
It’s a two-year, $9.25 million deal that includes $5 million in fully guaranteed compensation, a source told NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero. Mitchell hit the open market after the Baltimore Ravens chose not to tender him as a restricted free agent.
The 24-year-old had been with the Ravens since they signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2023. He flashed big-play potential during his rookie campaign but later suffered a season-ending knee injury, which also cut into his 2024 season.
