The Seattle Seahawks picked up the fifth-year options for wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba and cornerback Devon Witherspoon, the team announced Friday.
Witherspoon and Smith-Njigba were selected No. 5 and No. 20 overall, respectively, in the 2023 NFL Draft. By exercising the options, both players are now under contract through the 2027 season.
Smith-Njigba’s option is projected at $23.85 million, while Witherspoon’s is expected to be worth approximately $21.1 million, with both deals being fully guaranteed, according to Over the Cap.
