USF has hired the College of Charleston’s Chris Mack to replace Bryan Hodgson as its men’s basketball coach.
Mack, the 2016 national coach of the year, has led teams to nine NCAA Tournament berths, including four Sweet 16 appearances and one Elite Eight.
He has a 323-153 (.679) career record over 15 seasons as a head coach at Xavier, Louisville and Charleston. He has led teams to 12 20-win seasons, including the past two at Charleston.
