The Los Angeles Rams and reigning MVP Matthew Stafford have made significant progress on an extension, sources told NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Stafford, who remains under contract through the 2026 season, announced his intention to return for his 18th NFL season in February after winning his first MVP honor.
Los Angeles has adjusted Stafford’s contract in each of the past two offseasons.
