The Detroit Lions are signing running back Jahmyr Gibbs to a three-year extension worth up to $75.75 million, his agent confirmed Thursday to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The new deal makes Gibbs the NFL’s highest-paid running back ahead of Bijan Robinson, who inked a three-year contract worth up to $75 million earlier this week.
Gibbs’ deal is worth $67.5 million before the incentives that could bump it to $75.75 million and contains $51.5 million in guaranteed money.
