San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch provided good news while addressing the viral conspiracy theory linking the team’s recurring injuries to an electrical substation located near its training facility and Levi’s Stadium.
Lynch said Sunday that the 49ers met with a specialist, who concluded that they have nothing to worry about.
“We did hire an independent scientist,” Lynch said, according to Cam Inman of The Mercury News. “He basically (said) it was a big nothingburger. We’re safe. We’re in a safe place of work. The levels are 400 times less than an unsafe zone.”
