Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton announced that quarterback Bo Nix will likely participate in June’s mandatory minicamp and should be operating at “full speed” by training camp.
“I’m sure you’ll see him, probably minicamp, maybe,” Payton told reporters Saturday. “He’ll be full speed throwing, everything, in July before we even get back here. He’s doing good.”
Payton noted that Nix has been progressing well since undergoing a follow-up surgery on his fractured ankle in April, but he added that the team plans to be cautious with the 26-year-old.
