Chicago Bears receiver Luther Burden III is expected to miss a little bit of time after sustaining a groin injury in Saturday’s practice, a source told NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Burden got tangled up with cornerback Tyrique Stevenson on the final rep of of a one-on-one drill while the defensive back broke up a pass from Caleb Williams, according to ESPN’s Courtney Cronin.
Burden was able to walk off the field under his own power following the play, but did not return for the remainder of practice. Stevenson, who landed on his back and remained on the ground for several minutes, was able to rejoin team drills after receiving treatment on the sideline.
