The Carolina Panthers and former Pro Bowl tight end Darren Waller agreed to a one-year contract Wednesday, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Waller came out of retirement to catch 24 passes for 283 yards and six touchdowns in nine games with the Miami Dolphins last season.
The Georgia Tech product racked up back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons in 2019-20 during his heyday with the Las Vegas Raiders.
