Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 hamstring injury, which comes with a recovery timeline of three-to-four weeks, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport.
It’s possible Williams can come back quicker than expected, Schefter and Rapoport added.
The Bears ruled out Williams for Monday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles, but have not confirmed how much time he will miss. Head coach Ben Johnson said earlier this week that the quarterback would likely miss “some time” and classified him as week-to-week.
