Baltimore Ravens head coach Jesse Minter ruled out quarterback Lamar Jackson ahead of Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
The two-time MVP didn’t participate in practice this week after sustaining an ankle injury in the first half of last week’s win over the Tennessee Titans. Jackson could reportedly miss multiple games, depending on how his rehab goes.
Minter said Friday that it’s too early to determine Jackson’s status for the Ravens’ Week 6 matchup against the Cleveland Browns, according to The Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec.
Tyler Huntley will start at quarterback in Jackson’s absence, Zrebiec adds.
