The San Francisco 49ers receiver corps lost another key contributor Sunday when Deebo Samuel suffered a third-quarter hamstring injury and was almost immediately ruled out for the rest of the game.
After the Niners’ 32-29 victory, coach Kyle Shanahan said he wasn’t yet sure the severity of Samuel’s injury, though Samuel was moving slowly in the team’s locker room. Samuel will have more tests done in the next 24 hours to determine when he can return. The 49ers have an extra day of rest this week as they meet the Washington Commanders on Monday Night Football in Week 6.
