The Baltimore Ravens will start undrafted rookie quarterback Joe Fagnano for Thursday night’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, head coach Jesse Minter announced Tuesday.
Fagnano, who is typically the Ravens’ third-string quarterback, has been pressed into starting duty by injuries to Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley. Jackson is set to undergo thumb surgery, while Huntley is dealing with turf toe.
However, Fagnano is battling an ankle injury. He was seen wearing a brace on his right foot in Tuesday’s practice.
