Los Angeles Rams edge rusher Myles Garrett is on track to return Sunday against the Washington Commanders, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo.
Garrett has missed the last seven games due to a knee injury. He underwent arthroscopic knee surgery shortly after returning from Melbourne, Australia, where the Rams lost to the San Francisco 49ers in their season opener.
L.A. later placed the star pass-rusher on injured reserve. Garrett returned to practice Wednesday as a limited participant, marking his first time on the field since the injury.
“I want to be careful to (not) even set any sort of expectations,” head coach Sean McVay said Monday about Garrett potentially returning this weekend. “I think just taking it a day at a time is going to be the best way that we can approach it.
