The Indiana Pacers advanced to their first Eastern Conference finals since 2014 after defeating the New York Knicks 130-109 in Game 7 on Sunday.
Indiana had the best shooting performance in postseason history, according to The Athletic’s Fred Katz. The Pacers knocked down 67.1% of their field goals, narrowly beating the record held by the 1990 Boston Celtics.
Star guard Tyrese Haliburton dropped 26 points in the do-or-die tilt, while Pascal Siakam and Andrew Nembhard each added 20 points.
