Dallas Mavericks star Anthony Davis has been ruled out of Monday’s contest against the Sacramento Kings due to an adductor strain, per the team’s Sunday injury report.
Davis suffered the injury late in the third quarter of Saturday’s 116-105 win over the Houston Rockets after falling awkwardly to the floor. He left the contest and did not return.
After the game, Davis told reporters that he felt tightness in his groin area but said it wasn’t a serious issue.
The 10-time All-Star had missed the previous five contests with an abdominal injury.
