Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving will replace his injured teammate Anthony Davis at the 2025 NBA All-Star Game, Dallas announced Monday.
Davis was initially selected as an All-Star reserve but will reportedly be sidelined for multiple weeks after suffering a left adductor strain in his Mavericks debut Saturday.
Irving will be making his ninth All-Star Game appearance at this weekend’s event in San Francisco. The 32-year-old will replace Davis on Team Shaq, joining the likes of Steph Curry, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and James Harden.
