Mac McClung became the first player in NBA history to win three consecutive Slam Dunk contests, defeating San Antonio Spurs rookie Stephon Castle in the final round.
McClung, a member of the Orlando Magic’s G-League affiliate, stole the show with his opening dunk. He received a perfect 50 for jumping over a car to throw down a two-handed reverse slam. He also received a 50 for his other dunk in the first round and both efforts in the final.
