The Green Bay Packers are signing wide receiver Christian Watson to a one-year, $13.25-million extension, his agent told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Watson is now under contract through the 2026 season. He’s currently on the physically unable to perform list after tearing his ACL at the end of last season but is expected to return at some point this year.
The Packers selected Watson in the second round of the 2022 draft and he had a solid rookie campaign, totaling 41 receptions for 611 yards with seven touchdowns. However, he struggled with a lingering hamstring injury the following season, ultimately missing eight contests in 2023.
