The Chicago Bulls have signed high-flying guard Mac McClung, per HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto. The 26-year-old fan favorite returns to Chicago after two standout seasons in the G League with Orlando’s affiliate, where he averaged over 25 points and 6 assists per game.
McClung, famous for winning three consecutive NBA Slam Dunk Contests (2023–2025), has played just six career NBA games but remains one of the league’s most popular showmen.
This marks his second stint with the Bulls, following a brief 2021–22 run when he appeared in one NBA and one G League game before earning G League Rookie of the Year honors with South Bay. He later captured the 2024 G League MVP award with the Osceola Magic.
Chicago’s roster is currently full, suggesting McClung signed an Exhibit-10 deal, likely leading him back to the Windy City Bulls in the G League. While a full-time NBA spot may be unlikely for now, his return brings excitement — and plenty of highlight-reel potential — to the Bulls organization.
