Former LSU coach Brian Kelly has turned down two settlement offers from the program, according to ESPN’s Mark Schlabach.
The first offer was reportedly a $25-million payment by former LSU athletic director Scott Woodward on Oct. 26 when Kelly was fired, per documents obtained by The Advocate. The proposal included the condition to remove language that would have reduced Kelly’s buyout if he coached in the future.
Kelly was later offered $30 million in two payments but reportedly declined both options.
