Oklahoma’s defense caused three turnovers and put points on the board with an 87-yard interception return touchdown to secure a 23-21 win on the road over Alabama.
The Crimson Tide outgained the Sooners by 190 yards in the contest, but were undone by the turnovers in Kalen DeBoer’s first home loss as Crimson Tide coach.
Alabama also saw its 17-game home winning streak come to an end, with the result making the season-ending Iron Bowl versus Auburn a must-win for their playoff hopes.
