Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud has cleared concussion protocol and will start Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts, head coach DeMeco Ryans said Friday, according to the Houston Chronicle’s Jonathan Alexander.
Stroud has missed the last three games after suffering the head injury Nov. 2 versus the Denver Broncos. He was a full participant in every practice this week for the first time since being sidelined.
Out of 32 qualifying quarterbacks this season, Stroud ranks 12th in EPA/play and success rate, according to Ben Baldwin’s database. He has 1,702 passing yards with 11 touchdown passes and five picks through eight games.
