Ohio State secured two major wins on National Signing Day for its 2026 recruiting class. Five-star wide receiver Chris Henry Jr., the No. 3 WR and No. 32 overall prospect nationally, reaffirmed his long-standing commitment to the Buckeyes despite strong late pushes from Oregon and West Virginia and the departure of WR coach Brian Hartline. Henry will enroll early in January after a senior season at Mater Dei where he posted 607 yards and six touchdowns.
In addition, Ohio State pulled off a key in-state flip by landing four-star safety Kaden Gebhardt, who switched his commitment from Clemson. Ranked as the No. 25 safety nationally, Gebhardt chose OSU after being heavily recruited late in the process and joins his high school teammate, linebacker CJ Sanna, in the Buckeyes’ 2026 class.
