Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones was ruled out of Sunday’s 36-19 loss against the Jacksonville Jaguars due to an Achilles injury.
Jones went to the ground following a pass attempt toward the end of the first quarter. He immediately grabbed at the back of his right ankle and then began slamming his helmet down in frustration while being treated by the Colts’ medical staff. He exited the game after completing 5 of 7 passes for 60 yards and an interception.
“It could be season-ending, I don’t have the full details on it,” head coach Shane Steichen said postgame about Jones, per Fox 59’s Dave Griffiths.
