Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes underwent successful surgery on a torn ACL in his left knee Monday, the team announced.
Mahomes will begin rehabbing immediately.
The Chiefs quarterback tore his ACL in the closing minutes of Sunday’s 16-13 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Mahomes vowed that he would return “stronger than ever” in a message posted on his social media Sunday night.
