Arizona State head coach Kenny Dillingham has signed a new five-year deal, sources told ESPN’s Pete Thamel.
The contract has an average annual salary of nearly $7.5 million and prioritizes staff resources, Thamel adds. This new deal takes Dillingham out of the running for Michigan’s head coaching position.
Dillingham’s contract comes just one year after the Sun Devils made him the second-highest-paid coach in the Big 12. He was extended after they secured a spot in the College Football Playoff, following Arizona State’s Big 12 conference title victory.
