Dallas Mavericks superstar Anthony Davis is expected to miss a few games after sustaining a minor groin strain during his team’s Christmas Day loss to the Golden State Warriors, sources told ESPN’s Shams Charania.
The Mavericks will evaluate Davis daily and take a cautious approach in determining his return, Charania reports.
Davis suffered the strain early in the second quarter when he pulled up lame while running down the court. He quickly went to the bench for an examination before heading to the locker room for the remainder of the evening. Davis scored three points with three rebounds and three blocks in 11 minutes of action Thursday.
