Seattle Seahawks running back and Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III is unlikely to receive the franchise or transition tag, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The running back franchise tag is projected to be worth around $14.5 million, while the transition tag is expected to come in at about $11.7 million, per Over the Cap.
The Seahawks are prioritizing re-signing other key pending free agents and extending wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Schefter adds.
