The Houston Texans are signing defensive end Danielle Hunter to a one-year, $40.1-million extension that’s fully guaranteed, sources told NFL insider Jordan Schultz.
The new contract locks up Hunter through the 2027 campaign. This marks the third consecutive fully guaranteed deal Hunter has signed with Houston since joining the club in 2024, Schultz adds.
Hunter recorded 15 sacks and 22 quarterback hits last season en route to earning second-team All-Pro honors. He also posted 83 pressures, the fifth most among all defenders in the NFL.
