Former New York Giants teammates Eli Manning and Michael Strahan are now vying for the same goal: a 10% minority ownership stake in the Giants, valued at roughly $750 million. According to reports, both are leading separate investment groups to acquire the stake, but only one is expected to succeed.
Strahan has partnered with billionaire Marc Lasry, a former Milwaukee Bucks stakeholder, while Manning’s group remains undisclosed. Manning initially considered teaming up with Strahan but withdrew due to conflicts with his existing business ventures.
Both men have deep ties to the franchise—Strahan played 15 seasons with the Giants and is a Hall of Famer, while Manning spent 16 seasons with the team and won two Super Bowls alongside Strahan. Manning has previously said the Giants are the only team he would consider owning.
The Giants announced their intent to sell a minority share earlier this year, drawing interest from both legendary players.
