The Carolina Panthers released pass-rusher Jadeveon Clowney after one season, the team announced Thursday.
Clowney registered 5.5 sacks in 2024.
The 32-year-old had joined the Panthers on a two-year, $20-million contract. Releasing him opens up $7.7 million in salary-cap space.
