Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum underwent surgery to repair a ruptured right Achilles tendon, the team announced Tuesday.
Tatum has no timetable for a return, but he is expected to make a full recovery.
The 27-year-old suffered the injury during a noncontact play Monday night in the final minutes of the Celtics’ Game 4 loss to the New York Knicks. He had to be helped off the court by team staff.
