The Colorado Rockies beat the Miami Marlins 3-2 on Tuesday to win their first series of the season after also taking Monday’s opener.
Colorado’s last series victory before beating Miami in two straight games was last September against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The Rockies (11-50) dropped an MLB-record 22 straight series dating back to 2024 before snapping the streak. The team already set another dubious mark with the worst 60-game start in the modern era (since 1901).
