Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton suffered a torn right Achilles tendon during Indiana’s Game 7 defeat against the Oklahoma City Thunder, sources told ESPN’s Shams Charania.
The injury occurred in the first half when Haliburton slipped while attempting to drive past Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. He immediately began pounding the floor in pain and was carried to the locker room by his teammates.
Haliburton was playing through a calf strain that intensified after Game 5. He ultimately suited up in Game 6 and wasn’t put on a minutes restriction.
