Oklahoma loses against Kansas State
There was never a moment of uncertainty on Kansas State’s sideline when fifth-ranked Oklahoma raced to an early lead, or when the wounded Sooners began to mount a frantic fourth-quarter comeback.

There might have been just a bit when they recovered an onside kick.

the ice wasn’t gonna win tonight I think they’ve just quite so well at home and I don’t believe that they’re gonna lose three straight games at home if if the Nationals can figure out a way and the first thing that’s try to scratch or run and Trey Turner tonight can get on and get still a base and they’re lining up to get maybe hit through a home run or get a run off Verlander it can make a lot interesting because I think that Strasburg is gonna have to go seven and then because they can’t trust their bullpen Daniel Hudson’s struggle and their bullpen continues to struggle I think they’re gonna have to find a way to get those six outs but I see the Astros winning I think home-field advantage I think they play too well at home I think even though they’re struggling the waters at home I think with a chance to close up tonight you don’t want to take a chance in Game seven your one on fire game away from losing this series you don’t want that pressure I think they definitely look you got you got your one of your top two pitchers on the mound Gerrit Cole threw a sensational game as last outing 783 hits 110 pitches has a 170 to play up you are a thirty six and two-thirds forty seven strikeouts 11 walks this plows has the it’s time for the most records by Al pitcher in history to playoffs so I think you definitely want to close that while you can you don’t want to you as a fan is great for that game seven and I’m rooting for it but like as a player you want to try to end it as soon as you possibly can so I think they get it done tonight how would you rate this World Series compared to others from what standpoint from a rating step boy from an interest game at that point from a competitive standpoint I think I think it’s like unlike past words I think it’s been a little down because I consider like a tune-up in lead I did expect the Astros are great team but I did expect more from the Nationals at home I was a little let down by them because at home like typically when you take up to nothing lead I’m expecting a little more from you at home and I saw teams to win awards after losing the first two games at home the 1985 Royals defeated calls in seven games in 1986 the Mets defeated the Red Sox in seven games in the Yankees defeated the Braves in six games and the Astros they had a plus 16 run differential which is the four fires in a single watches on a row and I was considering that day I didn’t think they would sleep the ashes of course not yes was are too great of a team but considering at home I was a little disappointed by by by the NASA is just not being able to get that at-bat going I expected him to lose Game three but I didn’t express them to lose in the fashion that he did so I feel like it’s been a little disappointing for me we read dominated times possession 3900 wasted 21:52 and they and it wasn’t even like it was a scheme I just felt like Oklahoma was just missing a lot of tackles Jill Hertz played great 19 to 23 and 95 yards I just feel like Oklahoma just from it wasn’t even schemes it was just straight quarterback runs it just felt like there was a lot of aggression as you said like one is just a lack of aggression there wasn’t no tenacity in our plan just felt like the linebackers were just missing tackles it was simple quarterback draw they were running everywhere and I just I just didn’t get the sense that Oklahoma really watched a when they fell behind line at third quarter then when they mount the fourth quarter I got halfway about the fumble all you be a letdown I can sell the Oklahoma lacked the physical and a wanna win this game it turns of their playoffs this does a lot for applause but I don’t think they’re up the woods yet we’ve seen a lot of one-loss teams make the korfball plus not a freeze more of an uphill battle and considering that sex is a lot of that obviously dampers our chances a lot hopefully we can make that up again Baylor I don’t think they’re calm football playoffs are done but boy does this take a huge hit to those playoffs yeah definitely they dropped to number 10 in the AP poll but was there difference the big problem I know it’s been in question marks this past season yeah I think it wasn’t you trying this game I just I like I was very I’ve had a hard time understanding why we gave 48 points we can’t state and they they weren’t even like they weren’t even running like comes music plays it was straight physicality they were just being ho calm at the line of scrimmage I just felt like Oklahoma didn’t play with that edge but like they were playing at Texas I don’t know if they let their guard down if they were looking forward if this is just a bad Saturday but this is a bad showing and everyone’s gonna be watching Oklahoma’s defense because we’ve struggled with that for a lot of couple of seasons so we gotta just keep stringing a couple boys I know we had that great force against Texas but we just gotta keep building off that and this was one of those games where we have the opportunity to keep showing our defense keeps turning our difference in us Kansas State where an opportunity to keep showing there will ferrell on these but I feel like Jill Hertz played all right even though he had those turnovers I’m playing you played all right I just saw our defense really really took a step back and I just felt like it was physicality Oklahoma’s just didn’t match Kansas State’s physicality we can’t beat at the line of scrimmage Oklahoma’s next three games Iowa State and also they play against Baylor and then TCU and X 3 game so yeah Kansas State has moved up to number 22nd in the AP poll so of course they’re happy to be ranked but not much it’s gonna happen from there other pac-12 scores Oklahoma State defeated Iowa’s state 3427 like you were saying tceo defeated Texas 37 to 27 yeah really surprised me Ehlinger has four interception teeth in plays thing so that game really surprised me and that game also like if you look at that game in a context of the college football playoffs Oklahoma beat Texas right now to see you winning that game takes a little bit of the you know a little bit of Oklahoma it takes a little bit off that game not at Oklahoma ask the whole they beat Baylor because if Texas keeps slipping that takes a little bit of hope off Oklahoma and Oklahoma has to hope that LSU and Alabama I may be watching that game very closely because Oklahoma’s got a hope that they so that they can get in because when I see two SEC teams in which is gonna be very unfortunate I hope Oklahoma still gets in yeah something that you know for sure to look that I can even see two Big Ten team an argument out there that people talking about Penn State it’s at number seven or six somewhere there I think that do have a chance can you see a big 12 team ended up into the playoffs I think it’s gonna depend a lot there’s a lot of costumey play it’s gonna depend on a lot of factors like I think – I think Kerr curve she was somebody opened up the eyes for the past 12 I don’t see that I don’t think that the fact of has enough that’s like schedule so unless they get it I think it’s gonna be an uphill battle so I’m gonna get in I think ganger with your loss I think would have been ideal but I think Oklahoma’s gonna have to sweat it out and so the selection show I think Oklahoma’s gonna have to be eating that pizza when they do that I think Oklahoma’s gonna have to sweat it out with one loss like they were last year I mean with zero losses they were a bit more of a thing I think now okhla mask the wins big championship game and they gotta win now and I think that they got hope they’ve you know Baylor and then they gotta hope that Texas wins too because that dampens their win off sexes they’re one strong victory this year so I think that Oklahoma and the big 12 could def I think Oklahoma could still get in but instead of it being like a 40% chance now it’s down to 20 now it’s down to 15 now you need a center one variable focal mageddon feed on a break now you’re ten now you need three or four variables to fall in your direction and get in so I think it’s definitely going to be an uphill battle for Oklahoma and now if we’re gonna be watching for that expecting loss would you consider hurts to be a Heisman candidate I think ours is still a Heisman can I still think like he’s playing well and I don’t think that it’s as well I think he has three rushing touchdowns so I think he’s still playing well I think that I think that he’s still playing well I just think they came
