Super Bowl LIV is now officially in the books as the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers by a score of 31-20 in Miami on Sunday. Patrick Mahomes orchestrated an incredible come-from-behind victory, as the Chiefs trailed by 10 points with six minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, yet flipped the script to win by 11 points.

Caillou. It was a tremendous Super Bowl at one point. I thought the 40 Niners were going to win it. But the Chiefs have come back three games in a row. Caillou, what what were your deep deep analysis over the like over the Super Bowl?

Caillou Borden
I thought is really good at the outside of the George kittel like I thought it was really well officiated, I thought they wanted to take the game is always want to go benefit from it last year had insanely blown NFC Championship game. But it’s a bang bang like I thought he got a slight wasn’t enough for me to call back. But other than that, I feel like this is a really officiated game. I think it kind of do what a lot of reason. I feel like caution. And obviously it’s on its way to Drake. I felt like learning from the authentic way and style came up a lot to do with it. And and it’s so Right I felt like even though even off mentum girl, the one thing that always comes down to these games, I felt like they were hesitant whether they wanted to run the ball they wanted that at times they wanted Jimmy G to be the hero and at times they didn’t know what they want to run. There were opportunities to them in the first half. They didn’t they miss manager timeouts at Deke they did miss magic time up and at first at the moment, like I feel like the moment just got too big without me. I feel like they they really learned a lot. I feel like they could have learned more from the other previous team. Bathroom all these grants like their defense is so great, the first three quarters. It is like when you’re on the field a lot. In terms of one of the great I think there’s more to be done for basketball. I think he’s definitely among one of the greats. And this is like for a new read like this is really good for him. But going back to basketball, it’s all about that. But I think that this is really huge. That’s why when you sit low before the age of 25 and winning MVP doesn’t really choose accomplishments that he came back from 10 points in this game the game that Nintendo and AFC Championship game you came back 24 I’ve been really impressive leadership, obviously, we know a lot of our talent. But for me in that game when it was down 24 zero and you’re seeing a lot of silence, everybody, like everybody think every quarterback is a leader. And sometimes they get forced into position. They’re not always leading a basketball and it’s like, he’s really talented. But he’s also very doesn’t leader and there’s a moment, but in an empty division and I when they’re down 24 to zero meant the text and then you can see in height went up and shot a lot of emotion. I felt like that was really huge for them. Because at the time that she’s like, Oh, here we go. Again, we have this, we have this really good record, we have a really good seat and you read, you know, you know with the wind and he’s not all 500 miles. I think they got the contract will go out. Look, I think obviously you had a good season. This is a really bad moment for him. I think at the biggest stages Career like he missed like he missed a lot of drones drone and gaming and attention to detail Sam yo on that same thing in this and that same drive a misplays to thank so obviously missing out in missing Sanders. Where do I see Jimmy global? it all Richardson and I was not impressed with Richard Sherman. But I do for like Richard Sherman. It I think it’s very tough to see. I didn’t it’s very tough for Richard Sherman because he’s an older corner and he needs an assistant right and he’s a great work but they stayed in historic he’s only good and I don’t want to make a Richard Sherman didn’t get burned a couple times. But I think it had to do with Tyree kill. A lot of people make a lot to do out Richard and got burnt. I thought Nick bozak later, I thought Nick mosa played a really good game. He had five chapters of stack and a title for last night he really played a great game. In the first hour. I felt like he was the only one really creating a pressure. I feel like he had a really really good game. I just saw like what defensive linemen they always say as the game goes on, and a mobile quarterback. I just like as the game goes on, the more snaps are on the field, even though they’re all conditioned as the game goes on. defensive lineman with that body weight at that size. you no matter how hard you train, no matter what you do, those guys start to wear now. And especially when your offense doesn’t score, your admin doesn’t score in the fourth quarter, your defense is going to start wearing down even if you have a great great, great, great defense. Now, there’s going to be no different that’s gonna be at five beers on 2000 ravens. So like you’re going to need to score points. And although they add a really good game plan for 52 minutes, like you’re going to need your quarterback to make plays. And one play that stuck out to me for that third and five play that Jimmy Garoppolo just didn’t make it. He just didn’t make it 35 523 African city scored a touchdown pass incomplete. Yeah, I think Andy Reid definitely needed this, you know, cherry on top and like you were saying he was going to be a Hall of Famer and Anyways but he needed that Super Bowl that Super Bowl ring and I can see Kansas City you know obviously the NFL so difficult went back to back or you know or become a dynasty just like the Patriots, but I could see this Casey team winning one or two more championships with this team.

Yeah, yeah, I agree I could definitely see it like if they stay healthy, like you’re gonna have to play it back home. I definitely will eat away another one or two rings. But I also think like you’re gonna have to pay back more this offseason and you’re not going to afford some of your players you that help you also that have helped you also got to get a buy. I also think there’s a lot of prizes, but you’re right. I agree and like any reason to be coaching for 1015 years, he’s not going to slow down I think they could definitely win another one or two and so I definitely agree with you on that.

Is the San Francisco for the niners the future of the NFC.

I think it’s very tough because I think like I think it’s gonna be hard like we saw with the Rams, like the Rams have just a runner up prior to Niners winning this year, they struggled against the Arizona Cardinals and as long as they get better, what or as they get better, I think that that’s true. of Seattle’s gonna be tougher. Russell Wilson. They said Russell Wilson, they’re still gonna be governess and win every year. And I think the LA Rams going to make improvement a struggle against Arizona and clip kingsburg. So they’re in a tough division. I think that’s the best division in football right now. I think it’s going to be tough. Also, outside of the division, you’re still dealing with Green Bay. We’ll see him to breeze and tires. I think maybe Dallas takes a step forward. Maybe they win their division, all that maybe the Eagles are healthy they get younger players on their roster. They’re not relying on older players in their locker big now rosemon when I was younger talent I know they run back most of their corporate as well. But now it’s time for them to get younger I think they’re definitely other factors that they can’t their division stuff. And I was saying the undersea there’s no guarantee because your Dell often corvex your division. So you should have maybe gotten to go to Dallas, maybe you don’t have that good health that you did. of course the future of these two teams young teams young Well, not young coaches, one young coach, one Andy week ago for three more years, but Super Bowl was really good. It reminds me of the Patriots game against the the super bowl with the Patriots against Atlanta Falcons where you know, the Patriots were down by I think 27 points or so. And they came back and won it. This is very similar, obviously the gap which is 10 points, which is a lot in the NFL anyways, but it was a very good Super Bowl mahomes really deserved it Kansas City You know, when mahomes had the injury back in November I thought that was it. I thought okay, maybe not like as bad injury like out of the season but I thought it would have taken a toll for the season maybe wait till next year but no, he came back and he just, you know, had home field field advantage last minute because of the Miami Dolphins win. So it was kind of how things kind of lined up for them. And of course being down 27 the three against the Texans that was I thought that was over but it wasn’t and of course Tennessee’s momentum he thought maybe Tennessee might have a chance. Kansas City probably underdog for most of the like, like these games in the first three quarters came back and just they just had the firepower not afraid to be down with how many touchdowns or like how many points but we say congrats is Kansas City Chiefs finally. Their first wins is 1969 great ownership. Great team great, great base of fans. Really, really glad they don’t Well, well listen to turn into the to this next segment of the show Coby Brian of course we’ve been reminiscing for him for the past week. And like, you’re like, get the TMZ report, obviously like they had the Michael Jackson’s death. And like, you go through it like you don’t want to believe in a moment. You can’t believe like, this is real, and my There’s so many like reports gone through like Twitter like Giana die this thing and like it like it just goes to like show like the precious life and like, like the pilot had over 8000 inexperienced kawhi Leonard that was kawhi Leonard saw also pilot I also like that I was quite lens right pilot and Mike and Mike CNET want to support cnm on a team that to the shonkoff elation while it was eight seconds or a backcourt violation from UConn woman to all the MVP that participating all the tributes and all the support from President Sanae marzin. Seeing what you candidly flowers on a thing that was the Lakers did a you know really good tribute, the highlighted Good see with TNT she was shot this team all the reactions with Jerry West team how Maria Taylor did a phenomenal job. She did a phenomenal job hosting ESPN coverage of it Sunday and it’s five minutes and that was great. Seeing TNT is seeing a lot of support and the love that go right got and seeing that 60 point game relive an epic game that Utah did. They did on ESPN seen all the games on NBA TV. It was four days removed from at one point game. It just was really really was really really shot.

Yeah, definitely kallu you know Kobe Bryant was was a huge, huge impact, not just in basketball in the NBA, but across other sports in the NFL, like yesterday in the Super Bowl. They did a memorial right before the game started. I think they were they were meeting at the 24 yard line. And they should they presented it in the screens as well. So but yeah, it’s something to definitely, you know, be accounted for And LA is planning a a memorial service at the LA Coliseum. I believe the date has not been yet set. They want to do it as a staple center but it’s gonna be bigger because Kobe had so much impacted and in LA itself so below I think I

question for you How do you think they should best honor Coby because I have a lot of solutions. I know like I didn’t get into it, but like how do you think they should best honor Kobe they I know I heard a lot about changing the logo. Do Are you on board that art a lot about the all star game that formula was really interesting to me is actually different. I read a couple times, because like it was obviously different are a lot of both the short time eight and 24 rounds. Awesome. So how do you think they should best on and Toby going to keep that up?

You mean? NBA? You know, having some type of like yeah, naming like the NBA like the Kobe Bryant MVP award or something like that.

Caillou Borden
Yeah. Yeah, I think they should be I have not

thought about that. I have not thought about that. The logo is not a bad idea. What are your thoughts?

Caillou Borden
I think I think I have a couple ideas. I know I started Golovkin window, the mama mama mentality that should become the most improved award. I think that would be really good for me in terms of that’s one suggestion that the NBA can do. I think we retire eight and 24 around every game. I know Mark Cuban did. And here’s why I would suggest doing it. Because we’ve I’ve never seen an NBA player die this tragedy at so young in life. You think about the NBA. We got Bill Russell, we still got curry. And the only other non MVP that we have dead is Moses Malone and Wilt Chamberlain. And those guys were, you know, in their 60s so you could say that’s close to they they live like most of their life obviously at some time, but like they live their life. Like we’ve never had a player of this magnitude guidance early, and I think the NBA will be best to retire go numbers obviously continued the mentality I think that would be great. Yeah,

everything will retire the number 24 I think.

Yeah. 24 Yeah, I think eight and 24 I think what I think even 24 makes sense. The logo makes sense because Jerry was drafted Kobe Bryant, Jerry rush down the court, right and having that logo and not your concern that you’ll be changing the logo every five years. I don’t think that’ll be the case. Because NBA players really don’t die that young. But you look at life, they live most of their life.
