SEC Premier weekend was this past weekend, and it was a success as expected. Mississippi State looked great, but was it because LSU is bad? Bama won the game they suppose to win.

SEC Week 1 Games Recap
(3) Florida 51 Ole Miss 35
The star tight end caught four of Kyle Trask’s six touchdown passes and No. 5 Florida spoiled the head coaching debut of Mississippi’s Lane Kiffin with a 51-35 victory Saturday.

Mike Leach
K.J. Costello might not have been well-known outside of Pac-12 territory and Starkville, Mississippi, starting the day, but the college football world knows his name now. Costello turned in a record-breaking performance operating Mike Leach’s Air Raid offense leading Mississippi State to a 44-34 upset over the Tigers.

Redshirt junior Stetson Bennett came off the bench to engineer a 37-10 victory for the fourth-ranked Bulldogs, but not before some anxious moments.

Alabama football took care of business on Saturday night at Missouri, with the Crimson Tide defeating the Tigers 38-19.
Redshirt-junior quarterback Mac Jones led the offense along with solid performances from junior wide receiver Jaylen Waddle and senior running back Najee Harris.

Vanderbilt 12 Texas A&M 17

Vanderbilt narrowly missed on a season-opening upset, losing 17-12 to No. 11 Texas A&M on Saturday night.

But the Commodores found a quarterback and several reasons for optimism for this 10-game, SEC-only season. Here are five things we learned from Vanderbilt’s road loss to kick off the 2020 slate:

Exactly big man football Of course sec one of the best conferences in the world college conferences. And let’s begin let’s begin covering the SEC. first weekend. Let’s start with Florida beating Ole Miss 51 to 35 star tight end code for of code tries six touchdown passes at number five Florida spoiled the head coach in the boot. Mississippi’s Lane Kiffin Steven, what are your thoughts over that game?

I mean, look, Lauren is often such fantastic crowd cow trap, and cow pit the connection between the two cows, one at quarterback and one at tight in without standing on the old ball coach Steve Spurrier, we’ve been very pleased to watch that game. See that game check that game out as no Florida air the ball out there under head coach Dan Mullen was really impressed with that. I know it was not the greatest debut for nine chip and but we know what Ole Miss has offensively they did put some points on the board defensively, it’s where they’re going to have to improve but really impressive contrast. Let’s go Mississippi State defeated LSU 4435 Mike Leach a blitzkrieg offense offens going full force. I’m Stephen a lot of the media were just going around and saying wow, this team is a force to be reckoned with. What are your thoughts?

It did not take long for Mike Leach for air raid and the 10 plays a one thing note card to take effect for mister these days. I mean, for you not to have a spring and this offense looked as great as it did against LSU you know grant yes LSU also not a player so the NFL Draft players to opt out last two coaches to other jobs but Mississippi say you gotta hurry up you know Mike Leach and I credit tremendous game plan going down the Tiger Stadium. Getting the wind and how about Kj Costello quarterback. The transfer from Stanford had over 600 yards passing there were moments in that game he looks like why was I at Stanford all of this time because he was having so much fun and that all offense for state and kind of deal with the running back he looks very happy I got that’s gonna go from being just be the backyard running back to now he’s gonna be catching passes out the backfield no Mike Leach mentioned to him we’re trying to make you the next Alvin Kamara so stick around here and we’re gonna make you a complete all around back and know Kyle and he’ll did some great things over the weekend. Mississippi State’s receiving corps stepped up defensively. They did a good job stopping the run because you can tell the Tigers Miss Clyde Edwards la are tremendously they rotated three back in that matchup the Tigers did and steal could not generate, you know, over 100 dogs rushing so for miles Brennan. He has not Joe burrow. There are some things he’s gonna get down. There are some things entire and a shooting have to get down but Mississippi State I mean, give Mike Leach credit and welcome to the Ask a C and he got a huge win for the people of Stark Vegas.

I think I think it depends on Santiago how they build off this wind, right? Because this was a huge win residence in Starkville. They’re happy they’re jumping up and down. They’re giving each other high fives. But can they build off this? When is the question they can build off of it, then this will be a team to be reckoned with. Now coming in, I had Mr. Say, as a six and four, seven and three type team. I still see them that way. If they can build off that wind and maybe smash two or three more wins like that, that they were not expected to get coming in. It could be something nice for

definitely looking at this team they play at Bama on October 31 on Halloween, Georgia defeats Arkansas 3710 redshirt Junior Stetson Bennett came off the bench to engineer a 3710 victory for the fourth rank Bulldogs. Stephen, what are your thoughts over this game?

Stephen M. Smith
I mean, Georgia had some struggles with Arkansas I thought to want to be the guy to really you know, lead that team to toward victory the redshirt freshman but had a tough go out there you had to pull Stetson Bennett the the backup there to push him out in the matchup and he did engineer some big play some big drive to get George and ultimately the nearby. This is something that Kirby smart, you know, not happy with in terms of his team not connecting them that they need to not you know, respond to a performance where they need to so this is a game where Kirby has got to go back to the drawing board and clean some things up on both sides of the ball. Thankfully, they do get JT Daniels this week. He has been cleared medically to play so they will have the transfer from USC a fourth matchup with Auburn this week.

That’s huge news for Georgia of course that was announced this morning. That’s going on to the biggest game of the week for Stephen Alabama defeating Missouri 38 to 19. alabama football took care of business on Saturday night and Missouri with the Crimson Tide defeating the Tigers 3219 redshirt Junior quarterback Matt Jones led the offense along with the solid performances from jr wide receiver Jaylen waddle and senior running back najee Harris Steven Smith, what would you rate Alabama zero to 10 then

Stephen M. Smith
Alabama is there still some things to clean up but I give it a solid eight. I give it a solid eight. There was a lot of good things when you’re an Alabama fan. That from watching that game seen a lot in engine shows they’re 18 or 24 passing highly efficient 75% he looks a complete control of that offense at quarterback. A gentleman was an absolute star there those NFL scouts that that game that watched him perform at an elite level 90 heroes and fantastic on defensively dog having Dylan Moses back a big deal. In the first half defense flying around the ball pursuing the ball. Creating pressure making shoes play is equal to half of 28 three, the second half of a deep cover fast there our go to eight touchdowns for Missouri to help the bombers we know some arm tackles can break down tackles successfully, but overall, a solid eight. There were a lot of good things to take that match up but there’s some things I’m gonna have to clean up and we’ll get those things cleaned up. To practice

something to definitely look at let’s look at Vanderbilt versus Texan a Vanderbilt. Vanderbilt loses a Texas a&m Avenger belt narrowly missed on a season opening, upset losing 17 to 12 to number 11. Texas a&m on Saturday night. Hey Steven Vanderbilt was closed.

Vanderbilt was closed and you’re part of the moral victory he wants to really leave Vanderbilt program says, sec, but Vanderbilt play a pop up all day. They kept the close against the team in Texas a&m. A lot of talent that’s got no talent $498 million, almost a billion each every year. So Aggie fans feel like they’re on the same level as the Alabama’s the Auburn’s the LSU the big thing is ECM for no Jimbo Fisher to have to struggle to beat Vanderbilt. Not a good way to start off the season there for the pressure that’s on Fisher and he’s got to play Alabama this week and blind Guinea. They have to have all their their cards in a row. They’re coming out smoking on bugs off the football but I know Derrick Mason does not like moral victories but this was a game where if you’re a Vanderbilt fan, you’re looking like we didn’t win. It sucks. But we play quality against one of the better sec bit more.

Tennessee. Good talking about the program not had a chance to get some good things on both sides of the ball but for Tennessee to get this week knowing that the eight most receivers in the NFL after this past team. You have Jericho Otto who was not the greatest quarterback mad season but he’s got talent and you have you know, iron power on the roster. You’ve got Karen Bailey for true freshmen on the roster, the steel, you know Jeremy Pruitt with his coaching and with his staff, you know finding a way to get that done good. A good win there for the balls.

And of course that is it for the recap. What are you looking for when a Bama plays Texas a&m?

defensively, in the secondary, like I mentioned against Missouri, there were a couple of there were a couple of coverage spots in the second half. Got to get those cleaned up following the gap assignments on the defensive line and when you’re playing

pressure, a pocket where he can’t step up and make risky. But the things we see on that can be very, very successful from the outside and all offensively building off what you did against Missouri. No Matt Jones being efficient, Nigeria has been efficient to other guys around them. And the offensive line continuing to flex muscle not just the first team group, but getting more continuity, but that second and third team group as those as those other guys are having to play on the fly with not having spring football.

something to definitely look at Of course there’s ramifications when the offseason is not all there. But that is our recap of the SEC. Tonight predictions I’m chiefs at the Ravens mahomes versus Lamar Jackson. Steven Smith, what do you have?

This is so hot. Oh, you’ve got a Super Bowl winner a Super Bowl MVP and a league in BP audition so hard. Okay. You’re not you know what? Just because I believe he is hungry. He wants to prove all the critics wrong as he continues to grow year by year. Give me the large Jackson in the Ray Bans by three jumps in talker game winning field goal.

That is definitely a good score. Yes, they’re playing in Baltimore. Of course no fans, which I still consider more like neutral ground. But I think the ravens really wanted this is definitely the top two best teams in the AFC so we’ll definitely see what happens in the NBA. We got the Lakers in the heat who will win the series.

I got in the brawn getting that fourth one it’s gonna be hard on LeBron because Jimmy Butler’s an admission love Duncan Robinson BAM at a bio Gordon draaga ch has researched like they got a great team. No one gives Erik Spoelstra enough credit for what he does. He’s done a bang up job, but I like the blonde to go ahead and get that for three.

We’ll see if Ben is able to cover Anthony Davis and maybe be a spoiler. We’ll see the he are on a roll right now. But we’ll see. They’ll facing a unique opponent with the Lakers Of course, LeBron James. So we’ll see what happens. The finals begin on Wednesday night, so we’ll definitely check that out. He did some good things but he’s continuing to grow as a freshman once again, did not have spring, spring football. Very important around here. So the fans need to be patient with Bryce, Sean. I’ll be page with Trey Sanders. I will also be handing out some gang balls for the guys that really, really performed well. So going to be an entertaining show tonight.

Well, he got he got he got from the middle point he got from five minutes left in the third quarter in the whole fourth quarter.

Yeah. Anyways, yeah, I mean, he gets he got he got between three to five minutes in the third quarter. And then the entire fourth quarter. So Coach Saban, you know, wanting to get him out there wanting to get him some experience and some things to grow on and he has some good plays. He’s really good thing. He did some really good things out there.

Definitely with a good game going against Missouri when they were pretty much up throughout most of the game.
