North Dakota State QB Trey Lance declares for 2021 NFL draft

North Dakota State quarterback Trey Lance is declaring for the 2021 NFL draft, he told Yahoo Sports in a phone interview. Lance’s decision means he’ll be leaving school and not playing in the upcoming Bison season, which has been postponed to the spring of 2021.

Trey Lance (born May 9, 2000) is an American football quarterback for the North Dakota State Bison.
As a redshirt freshman in 2019, Lance started all 16 games, won the Walter Payton Award and Jerry Rice Award, as well as being named the Most Outstanding Player of the 2020 NCAA Division I Football Championship Game.
