BILLS 26, STEELERS 15
Don’t think safety Jordan Poyer and other members of Buffalo’s secondary didn’t notice Steelers receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster dancing on the Bills logo at midfield during pregame warmups on Sunday night.

Come the fourth quarter, after Levi Wallace intercepted Ben Roethlisberger to essentially seal Buffalo’s 26-15 victory, it was the Bills’ turn to break out into a dance along their sideline.

Josh Allen threw two touchdown passes, safety Taron Johnson returned an interception 51 yards for a score, and the Bills (10-3) inched closer to claiming their first AFC East title since 1995 and third playoff berth in four seasons. Buffalo can clinch both as early as Monday night if Baltimore loses to Cleveland.

The AFC North-leading Steelers (11-2) were still able to clinch their first playoff berth in three years before kickoff by virtue of the Miami Dolphins’ 33-27 loss to Kansas City earlier in the day.

“We’ve lost two. We’re facing some adversity. But we’re not hitting the panic button,” Roethlisberger said.

“Offensively we’re not very good. We’re not playing good football and it starts with me,” he added. “I think this is a team that has got a lot of resilience and understands what it takes to win football games and understands what time of year it is and right now it’s unacceptable.”

NFL WEEK 14 Recap

COWBOYS 30, BENGALS 7
Cowboys quarterback Andy Dalton put an exclamation point on his return to Cincinnati with a short touchdown pass late in the game to pile some more points on top of the woeful Bengals.

Dalton wanted this win badly. He was the starting quarterback for the Bengals for nine seasons and was unceremoniously released after the team took Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow with the top pick in the NFL draft last spring.

Back in Paul Brown Stadium as the Cowboys starter on Sunday, he was good enough to help lead his new team to a 30-7 win over his old one.

CHIEFS 33, DOLPHINS 27
Patrick Mahomes took a 30-yard sack before he got the Kansas City Chiefs going in the right direction.

The Chiefs overcame a 10-point deficit and four turnovers Sunday to clinch their fifth consecutive AFC West title by beating Miami 33-27.

Mahomes took the longest sack in the NFL in five years and was picked off three times, his first multi-interception game in more than two years. But he threw for 393 yards and two scores to help the Chiefs (12-1) earn their eighth consecutive victory.

CARDINALS 26, GIANTS 7
There’s more to the Arizona Cardinals than Kyler Murray, DeAndre Hopkins and a potent offense.

Kliff Kingsbury and the Cardinals are back in a playoff spot with three weeks left in the regular season because of a franchise-record performance by linebacker Haason Reddick and the play of his buddies on the defense.

Reddick had a franchise-record five sacks and three forced fumbles as the Cardinals ended a three-game skid and spoiled the return of Giants quarterback Daniel Jones with a 26-7 victory over New York on Sunday.

Murray, who went 24 of 35 for 244 yards and a touchdown, said safety Budda Baker talked to the team this week, saying to look at themselves if they want to get back to the playoffs for the first time since 2015.

BUCCANEERS 26, VIKINGS 14
If the Tampa Bay Buccaneers don’t end the NFL’s second-longest playoff drought, they can only blame themselves.

The Bucs (8-5) bolstered their chances of their first postseason berth in 13 years with Sunday’s 26-14 victory over Minnesota. The Vikings (6-7) remain in contention, too, despite another poor performance by kicker Dan Bailey.

Brady improved to 15-4 in 19 regular-season starts following a bye, tossing TD passes of 48 yards to Scotty Miller and 2 yards to Rob Gronkowski. Ronald Jones had a 1-yard touchdown run and Ryan Succop kicked field goals of 18 and 46 yards.

BRONCOS 32, PANTHERS 27
Drew Lock is a gunslinger and, truth be told, he’d prefer to throw the ball downfield on every play if he could.

But the Broncos young QB is starting to take John Elway’s advice, learning that stubborn approach doesn’t always work in the NFL.

On Sunday, Lock used a series of check-down throws to his running backs and tight ends to set up two long scoring strikes to rookie KJ Hamler, finishing with 280 yards passing and a career-high four touchdowns as Denver defeated the Carolina Panthers 32-27.

Lock connected on touchdown passes of 49 and 37 yards to Hamler and also threw scoring strikes to Nick Vannett and Tim Patrick. Diontae Spencer returned a punt 83 yards for his first career score for the Broncos (5-8).

Lock connected on touchdown passes of 49 and 37 yards to Hamler and also threw scoring strikes to Nick Vannett and Tim Patrick. Diontae Spencer returned a punt 83 yards for his first career score for the Broncos (5-8).

TITANS 31, JAGUARS 20
Derrick Henry never asked to stay in the game. His Tennessee teammates made sure coach Mike Vrabel knew just how close the league’s leading rusher was to another 200-yard day.

So Vrabel stuck with Henry, who delivered a 20-yard run in the fourth quarter that helped him make NFL history.

Henry ran for 215 yards and two touchdowns, his best performance in five trips to his hometown area, and the Titans dominated Jacksonville 31-10 on Sunday and handed the Jaguars a 12th consecutive loss.

It was Henry’s fourth game with at least 200 yards and two scores on the ground, breaking an NFL record he previously held with Hall of Famers Jim Brown, Barry Sanders and LaDainian Tomlinson.

The Jaguars benched quarterback Mike Glennon following his fourth turnover (plus a safety) in six quarters and turned to Gardner Minshew for the first time since Week 7. Minshew missed several weeks with a right thumb injury, but even after being deemed fully healthy, he remained on the bench behind Glennon.

COLTS 44, RAIDERS 27
Frank Reich found himself regularly amazed while he watched everything his Indianapolis Colts accomplished in their first trip to Sin City.

The coach couldn’t believe Kenny Moore’s one-handed, diving end-zone interception. He also marveled at the breakaway speed of Jonathan Taylor, who outran the Raiders’ entire secondary on a 62-yard TD sprint.

At the final whistle on a 44-27 victory Sunday, Reich was still extremely impressed with his team and its potential.

PACKERS 31, LIONS 24
The Green Bay Packers won their second straight NFC North title with a 31-24 victory over the Lions at Ford Field in Detroit on Sunday.

With the win, the Packers took a four-game lead in the division with three to play, so that race is over. They also tied the Saints for the top record in the NFC at 10-3 after New Orleans lost at Philadelphia. Technically, the Packers hold the No. 1 seed due to their head-to-head win over the Saints back in Week 3.

QB Aaron Rodgers was 26-of-33 for 290 yards with three TDs and a 133.6 passer rating. WR Davante Adams had seven catches for 115 yards and a TD, his career-high 14th and breaking the team record with a touchdown in an eighth straight game.

EAGLES 24, SAINTS 21
Jalen Hurts provided the Philadelphia Eagles a spark with his legs and his teammates came up with their best all-around effort of the season.

They needed everyone to deliver to beat the New Orleans Saints.

Hurts ran for 106 yards and threw for 167 and one touchdown, Miles Sanders had 115 yards rushing and a pair of scores and Philadelphia defeated the Saints 24-21 Sunday, snapping New Orleans’ nine-game winning streak.

Eagles coach Doug Pederson wouldn’t commit to starting Hurts or going back to Carson Wentz next week.

The Saints had 98 total yards in the first half before they got going on their first possession of the second half. Alvin Kamara ran in from the 5 to cap a 65-yard drive and cut Philadelphia’s lead to 17-7.

CHARGERS 20, FALCONS 17
The Los Angeles Chargers finally found a way to close out a win this season.

The Bolts came into Sunday’s game against Atlanta with four losses coming either in overtime or as time expired in regulation. But things finally lined up in their favor when Michael Badgley hit a 43-yard field goal as time expired to lift Los Angeles to a 20-17 victory

WASHINGTON 23, 49ERS 15
The Washington Football Team retook first place in the NFC East on Sunday with their 23-15 win over the San Francisco 49ers. It was a matchup that was completely dominated by Washington and its defense for the first three quarters, but San Francisco’s offense did make things interesting by scoring a touchdown early in the fourth quarter to cut the deficit to eight. Dwayne Haskins replaced Alex Smith under center in the second half after the veteran suffered a calf injury and Haskins was able to secure the victory, but it was rookie pass rusher Chase Young who was the MVP of this matchup. He recorded four total tackles, one sack, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and a touchdown just in the first half!

Anyways, last night Bill’s destroy the Steelers Steelers have lost two weeks in a row. The Steeler fans say okay, because we have a short schedule playing four games in 12 days whatever they whatever mathematics they tell you. Anyways, Joe all the way from Allegheny County. Welcome back to the sports cast.

Joe Toscano
Craig great being on again. I’m one of those fans that get depressed after my team loses so I’m not happy. I’m I’m very sad today

Santiago Leon
but not depressed enough for you not come to the sportscast you came anyways.

Joe Toscano
I’ll I’ll soldier a soldier through. I’ll talk my way out of this.

Santiago Leon
So last night, the bills has a good quarterback named Josh Allen. Everyone was praising the bills last night they were saying the front office is great. I mean, Josh Allen was great. Like the stadium, which is not that great. It was great. Um, Joe, what happened? I mean, was it something that hey, the both are I mean, are that good or the Steelers are just that tired? Because they played a couple games in a short period of time.

Joe Toscano
There’s a lot of factors. The bills are legit. The bills are good. They’ve been good all year. Josh Allen is playing amazing. stefon Diggs has transformed that offense. And they’re right. The GM is smart, the the coaches smart, the offensive coordinators smart that I assume the defensive coordinator is smart. They’re smart, they made adjustments. And a Steelers are just they’re just hurt and tired. But mostly hurts. You’re dealing with way too many injuries. And Ben is hurt too. He won’t say it. But Ben is hurt too. And you know, they can’t he can’t put the team on his back anymore because he is just, he just has injuries issues of his own that he’s trying to play through. And he’s doing the best he can.

Santiago Leon
Now it is week 14, can they be ready enough for the playoffs show that’s where it really counts.

Joe Toscano
Well, they basically lost out on the chance for the number one seed in that first round by which really stinks. So now they got to concentrate on getting ready for the playoffs. And you know, they really can’t because the Browns are right on their tail. So it’s not like they can take it easy. The Steelers have to keep wanting to win the AFC North so that’s not even a guarantee yet so there’s nothing definite with the Steelers right now. They could they could lose the next three games for all we know that’s how bad

Santiago Leon
things are. Joe, you’re sounding a little bit too negative.

Joe Toscano
Just like most Steeler fans, right?

Santiago Leon
I hate gloom and doom. You do got a two guys in the bench called Mason Rudolph and the doc.

Unknown Speaker
Um, okay, now really depressed.

Santiago Leon
Yeah. Anyways, I mean, you could have got Jalen hertz.

Joe Toscano
Because he wants to go. That’s funny. I’m surprised more people haven’t said that. Back in draft time, they were saying.

Santiago Leon
Now look at Jalen hertz, and he’s winning. He’s winning. But anyways, are you ready to recap? NFL Sunday week 14.

Joe Toscano
Let’s do this.

Santiago Leon
cowboys and Bengals a man named Andy Dalton. Yes. He’s redheaded really rare. put an exclamation point on his return to Cincinnati. Yes, this is a homecoming game. And he won in Cincinnati. Joe was this a comeback revenge game for Andy

Joe Toscano
Cincinnati and the cool thing about Andy Dalton is he does a lot of charitable work and charitable work in the Cincinnati area. So it’s really cool for him to come back. nice of them to win but you This is totally, totally

Santiago Leon
and the system that a stadium is Paul Brown stadiums. There’s a lot of stadiums that are not branded you know like buffalo they’re gonna be branded soon. But there’s you know, stadiums in Cincinnati Hey, I would love to sell the naming rights because he has an extra million dollars in your stash.

Joe Toscano
Miss the Bengals are a I don’t want to say they’re a joke or franchise but they’re very cheap. And they don’t do things like other teams. So the Bengals aren’t there. They’re sort of an NFL franchise but they’re not run very well. So not doesn’t surprise me.

Santiago Leon
We’ll see what happens with Joe Brown. Maybe he’ll bring some hope in the in the Bengals franchise. Let’s go into Miami. The Chiefs defeated the dolphins 33 to 27. Joe probably saw this sec on twitter at least but mahomes was sack the dolphins. Were bringing some hope that they could possibly win this game. I was calling like the Miami miracle too. But it wasn’t enough the Chiefs win again in Miami because they want it in the Super Bowl a couple months ago the win again in December and they knew the Steelers were going to lose against the bill so that they had to capitalize on this. Yeah, I

Joe Toscano
mean, the chiefs are just, you know, I think there’s a clear number one team in the NFL, even when they you know, I mean the dolphins gave them a game. And you know, they just decided Oh, let’s let’s just rattle off 20 points in a row wherever whatever they did. They just can’t turn on the offense when they want and yeah, it was close summing credit to the dolphins.

Santiago Leon
Dolphins are still in the playoff pond But Joe even though they lost they still look good and and I still think they’ll make the playoffs.

Joe Toscano
What they are, they’re holding on to the seventh spot right now. So they gotta be real happy that they change. Hold on to that last spot. So good football.

Santiago Leon
Let’s go into the Meadowlands. The Giants had a surprisingly win last week against Seattle. But the Cardinals came in and they had to do some business. Kyler Murray DeAndre Hopkins and a potent offense good on paper defeated the Giants 26 to seven, um, of course, Daniel Jones came back. Not enough the giants. Are they back where they used to be a couple of weeks ago?

Joe Toscano
Yeah, I mean, I don’t know. I think it was a mistake bringing back Daniel Jones, I don’t think he was totally healthy. And, you know, the Cardinals, you know, you get tired of losing, and eventually you put up with you pull out a win. So good for the Cardinals. giants say they pick a bad time to be bad considering they’re still in contention for the NFC East. But yeah, good on the Cardinals.

Santiago Leon
Now, if you were a giants coach, would you start calling McCoy instead?

Joe Toscano
I really don’t know why the I mean, you know, it’s one of those things when when a player is medically cleared, if Daniel Jones was medically cleared, then you have to play him because, you know, you have to assume that he’s going off the place. So, I mean, I would have made that decision. I would have played Daniel Jones but it’s clear that he wasn’t totally healthy. So you know, not good.

Santiago Leon
I would have started Colt McCoy because if he went last week, I’ll still give him the ball. Write him out. Yeah, writing them out and see where it goes. Once he loses switch back to Daniel Jones but I’m just saying I’m not a coach. I don’t get paid for this much. buccaneers versus the Vikings buccaneers are back 26 to 14. Tom Brady posted a video after the game saying the boys are back. It’s great to win in December. It does feel a very patriot like team Joe What are your thoughts?

Joe Toscano
Big bounce back game for the Bucs. they you know they had some some time off and they you know they were able to refresh so good for them. I mean not not good for the Vikings. You You thought that the Vikings are making it you know, going to make a run this year. But hey, the Buccaneers today they got it together in almost all facets of the game. They can pass they could run their defense was good. So, you know maybe they got things back on track.

Santiago Leon
Scotty Miller had 48 yards. Rob Curran caskey had two yards those two yards and of course Ronald Jones had a one yard touchdown and and Ryan suck up kick the field goals of 18 and 46 yards so the Buccaneers are looking good. Brady’s all about December, we’ll see where they go. I mean, I’m still iffy about them but they got the weapons and they got the paper. Broncos defeated the Panthers 3227 the Broncos needed this when drew Locke had a good a great performance in this game. touchdown passes. Are you nine yards to hamler and also through scoring strikes to Nick vannett and Tim Patrick. You know, easy win, carry I’m not that good but the Broncos Nina’s some good recovery went here.

Joe Toscano
Yeah, I mean it’s kind of I mean the the Broncos are barely in the playoff race but you know, it was it’s it’s a win that that drew Locke and john Elway needed to show. Hey, maybe drew lock is the guy for next year, a hinge that john Elway didn’t screw up yet another quarterback evaluation.

Santiago Leon
I’m hoping so i think i don’t you know, it’s kind of stinks when you get a quarterback recently but doesn’t pan out and then you got to like draft the new one and start the whole process. But I do I mean, I am a drew block Drew. Drew luck believer no matter what Ryan Krista says our other sports cast contributor, the Tennessee Titans the feet of the Jaguars 31 to 20, a man named Derrick Henry had a another 200 yard day, Joe this. He’s getting into beast mode or any.

Joe Toscano
I believe this is the fourth time he’s run for over 200 yards and score two touchdowns in a game, which is I believe the most in NFL history. So that is amazing. The Titans are very intriguing. They could go real far in the playoffs or they could be wanting done. They have a very good offense and their defense is a little tricky, but right now they’re the number four seed. It’s very impressive. And I if I’m if I’m an AMC team, I don’t want to play him in the playoffs. I don’t want to go against Derrick Henry.

Santiago Leon
What the Steelers have beaten them in Tennessee before

Joe Toscano
barely. That was not an easy game. And I would be scammy I I don’t think the Steelers can beat anybody right now in the playoffs. But still, that would be a very interesting game in the playoffs to come together again. The jaguars

Santiago Leon
bench quarterback Mike Glennon of hollowing his fourth turnover in six quarters and turn to Gardner Minshew. Yes, you. You remember that name for the first time since week seven. Minshew missed several weeks with a right thumb injury, but even after being deemed fully healthy, he remained on the bench behind Glennon uh, we think about that quarterback situation, do you think they’re gonna aim for a quarterback in the draft?

Joe Toscano
Yeah, they’re tanking. I mean, that they mentioned gives them a better chance to win. They don’t want to win. So they’re going to do so. You know, it’s a good for them you want them means that this this season is, you know, they’re not going anywhere this season. So why not play for next year and get

Santiago Leon
a good draft pick, even with a couple few more seeds. They cannot make it. Colts vs Raiders after this game. There was a coach fired, but the Colts won Frank Wright. He had a you know, had a great game. Um, the Colts are looking good, aren’t they?

Joe Toscano
culture looking good. I think they’re a legit, you know, contender for best AFC team. But it’s, it’s more about the Raiders. And it seems like they do this every year that they collapse. They just start losing a bunch of games at the end of the year. It’s not good. I mean, I think Gruden has done some good things. But at the same time, he’s also done some bad things. And you can’t have a collapse every single year. It’s not good.

Santiago Leon
And they fired up. The one of the coordinators Paul Gunther, defensive coordinator, were you surprised about that?

Joe Toscano
Yeah, that’ll fix everything. Got to blame somebody. I

Santiago Leon
guess last week was Greg Williams this week is Paul Gunther, who’s next? With defensive quarters next. It looks like there’s once a week but hey, you know, Black Monday is coming up, by the way. I think at the end of the month, college football, there’s been some coaches being fired as well. So we’ll see. Well, I guess the obvious one is Adam gaisce.

Joe Toscano
Oh, he’ll be gone. I mean, good. Good for the Jets. I mean, they’re there. They’re openly trying to tank so you know, gay so stick around, but I mean, he’s got get him out of there. I’ve wanted him out of there for months.

Santiago Leon
And another reason why the why they should fired gays Seahawks defeated the Judge 40 to three. Another good game by the Seahawks trying to define the NFC West that challenge. Russell Wilson for 206 yards. I’m Medicare 61 yards locker 52. But it wasn’t easy walk for them.

Joe Toscano
Yeah, I mean, you know, the, the Jets aren’t really competition and the Seahawks really need to get things together. have not been playing well lately. So good for the Seahawks. We’ll see what they do against a real team.

Santiago Leon
Exactly. And we’ll talk about the Rams because I believe they’re still first place in the NFC West. The Packers. clinched the NFC north. Joe, I’m not sure which I’m sure you’re not surprised as they defeated the lions 31 the 24 second straight NFC North title. Yes, I remember that one. And then last year, I’m huge when Rogers 200, almost 200 yards. Lions, I guess they weren’t last week after firing their coach, but they couldn’t beat the Packers this time. It was like one score line away. So

Joe Toscano
was a close game. I think this shows that Aaron Rodgers is in the conversation for NFL MVP. I think Pat mahomes is a front runner, but Aaron Rodgers is right in that conversation. He’s having that good of a year.

Santiago Leon
And of course, we’ll, we’ll see how they did in the playoffs typically, I don’t know. Like, when it comes to the Packers in the playoffs? I haven’t seen them. I mean, I’m assuming was a Super Bowl. And while so one thing is making the playoffs but one thing is making that deep run.

Joe Toscano
I don’t know. I don’t know. I mean, the NFC is a very interesting but I mean, you know you got the saints the Rams. Seahawks, so I mean it’s a very interesting but I believe right now they hold that number one spot. So if they get that first week by that is going to be huge.

Santiago Leon
Eagles to feed the saints 24 to 21 a man named Jalen hertz replaced Carson Wentz. And Jalen hertz is one and no a player that the Steelers wish they drafted.

Joe Toscano
No, they don’t, but still a player that a lot of people that they should have drafted. You know, it looks good. He looked good. I think it just speaks to how important confidence is in a player. And then Jalen hertz just goes out there. He has confidence in himself. And that just inspires a whole team and the other end and the rest of the team also knows, hey, we got a rookie in here a guy who’s just starting out, we have to, we have to be on our best we have to do our best and also they change the game plan a little bit to emphasize the run, which for some reason that has to do with Carson Wentz. So yeah, I mean, that was that was an amazing thing. And then the other thing you got to consider with the saints is taysom Hill. He’s okay. But is he good enough that you could count on when you’re down and because the saints were down? Pretty Pretty majorly in this game. He brought them back a little bit but still not enough.

Santiago Leon
Good. Good points there. Um, Carson Wentz got thrown a starting quarterback. Will his name his nickname beat the throne. When Sylvania Do you think he’ll be out? Or do you think there’ll be a good solid backup for the next couple of years in Philadelphia?

Joe Toscano
I think what’ll happen is Peterson will be gone. When when you have a player that you invested so much money in you’re going to play him and they’re going to say well it’s a lot easier to get rid of the coach and to get rid of player so I think next year it will be whence you’ll be starting parts will be that still the backup. They’ll do some packages with him and stuff like that kind of like maybe what what the saints do a tasting or something like that. But I think once will be the guy next year.

Santiago Leon
Oh, really? You’re saying Wentz will be the man next here.

Joe Toscano
I say whence will be the man next year and they’ll have a new coach.

Santiago Leon
Oh my gosh, Jalen. I mean, unless Jalen hertz has a great December. We got to see what he does. I know he’s not a good thrower. He’s a good runner, the rusher?

Joe Toscano
You know, that’s a really good point. What if Jalen hertz just keeps winning? How can you take them out?

Santiago Leon
I mean, what if he’s undefeated? But it could become the scenario where he’s like Tim Tebow? And oh, yeah, he won, but he’s not the guy. That’s true. That’s true.

Joe Toscano
That’s a real interesting scenario. We’ll see we’ll see what happens there.

Santiago Leon
I’m a hertz fan not because because one of my good friends Justin is Alabama fan but he’s pulling for hurts but we’ll see hertz has to throw amazing throws so but and he has a weapon. So we’ll see how it goes in. In the city of brotherly love. chargers, just sin Herbert defeated the Falcons 2217 the Chargers had a bad few weeks, but they’re able to squeeze it out by three points. And of course the Falcons always lose close ones. Any positivity with this game? No. I know. I can’t think of much to talk about

Joe Toscano
two teams that have had really bad years. Ah, I wonder if we’re seeing the end of Matt Ryan. or anywhere so you know,

Santiago Leon
the Steelers. Met Ryan to the Steelers.

Unknown Speaker
Oh for a couple years you know.

Santiago Leon
Help out. Help out. Mason Rudolph a bit but We think about Anthony Lin and La Do you think his his days are shorten?

Joe Toscano
Yeah, he sucks. No, he’s terrible with time management. I believe in this game. I think at the end of the first half, they were vocal range but for some reason they ran the ball without timeouts and the time ran out, and they didn’t get the score field goal. This is a this is a very close game. So I mean, he does this every week in the Atlanta is just allows the NFL coach, he’s probably a great coordinator or something like that. But he does he does crap like this all the time. So he needs to go.

Santiago Leon
Yeah, that has been talked about of course, Josh McDaniels from the Patriots is rumored to take that position. I think it’d be great position for him but we’ll see what happens it’s in Los Angeles with a beautiful with a beautiful empty stadium. Wonder how much money they’re losing every time they play there. It’s a beautiful empty stadium when when when fans are allowed in it to so you know, yeah, exactly. And of course, when you turn on the lights on, I always think how much is that bill? Anyways, the Washington football team to know these past two weeks to feed the 40 Niners a man named chase young you probably saw that clip sacking some some quarterbacks 123 to 15. This Washington football team is number one first place in the NFC East show. Last week was the Giants this week is Washington Do you think they’re the clear favorites?

Joe Toscano
If from what I understand alex smith got hurt or something like that. So hopefully, Alex Smith is okay. I think if they have Alex Smith, I think they could do enough to win games because that Washington’s defense is that darn good. Holy cow, Chase young is is a beast. He’s an absolute beast. He looks amazing. This game. I mean, basically, you know, Washington defense almost won this game single handily that you know, they were scoring points. Yeah, I mean, if alex smith can stay in there, they could just have just enough offense with that awesome defense. Yeah.

Santiago Leon
Washington when the NFC East alex smith left the game a little early due to a calf injury. So not too severe. But of course you know, calf injuries if you you know, say plane I believe so you you could get a more serious injury like the one that Kevin Durant guide I forgot something I’m not a doctor. I know a lot about Coronavirus Don’t kid I don’t know but but with

Joe Toscano
without Smith when you hear leg injury it’s just like oh my goodness perfect things he’s had with his leg I don’t know if it was the same leg or what’s going

Santiago Leon
on but hopefully he’s okay hopefully he’s okay good. Good. Good player of course and one of the one of the best players best quarterbacks trying to come back and Washington so as a shot I guess the Cowboys have a shot but let’s look at the standings the bills are first place dolphins at second the Patriots are a third they’re not limited yet and of course the Jets are last as we know the bills are probably going to make you know the playoffs but the dolphins and patriots the Patriots lost on Thursday against the Rams show didn’t look good. Do you think this team has some hope to make it huge loss for the Patriots.

Joe Toscano
They’re basically two games behind and basically three teams behind a playoff spot so it’s gonna be really tough they basically have to win out and then just hope so I mean if they make the playoffs I do like those things on football what that political guy doing doing the percentages of the things I

Santiago Leon
said oh yeah I forgot his day but yeah

Joe Toscano
I think he’s just have like a 6% chance or something like that so

Santiago Leon
yeah is not good it’s crazy AFC North the Browns which the Steelers play next soon soon soon annex soon their second plays the Ravens are in a third which they played the Browns tonight. AFC North i mean i mean i mean i mean i personally think they’ll win AFC North but i mean but do you think the Browns will clinch that second play spot?

Joe Toscano
The Browns right now or the fifth spot nine and three this is an enormous game with the Ravens are on the outside looking in they are the they are the number eight seed right now. It is a absolute must game for the Ravens. I think the Ravens are gonna win tonight because I think the I’m not saying the Browns are not legit. I mean it’s impressive being nine and three, but I think the Ravens are going to give him a lot of trouble so it’s gonna be a really good game. I don’t know. I don’t I don’t I still don’t know what’s gonna happen with the Steelers. I mean right now they look absolutely awful. So I don’t know obviously I think the Steelers play Cincinnati next and that’s probably a win but you never know. So in theory, the Steelers should win the AFC North but if the Browns actually do win tonight, it’s going to get real interesting. There would be 10 three and just one game behind the Steelers. So that would get really interested in the AFC North

Santiago Leon
AFC West of course, chiefs are 12 and one two the clear favorite not AFC Champions yet but they are almost on the path to the Raiders they fire their defensive coordinator yesterday their second Broncos five and eight don’t think they’ll make it chargers or four, nine. The Raiders. I think those get out.

Joe Toscano
It’s really close. I mean, they’re right now in that number nine spot there. They’re basically a game behind the dolphins. So I mean, the Raiders need to get it together if they could get together. These next three games we’ll see but they better they better figure something out real soon because otherwise if they keep losing then

Santiago Leon
forget about it. One team that has it all together in the NFC East is Washington, then the Giants then the eagles and cowboys. Joe, either these teams can make the playoffs.

Joe Toscano
Really it’s still up for grabs in the NFC East. Who needs

Santiago Leon
the moon? Which which coach needs to win this in order to keep their job

Joe Toscano
well Peterson Patterson, I think it’s playing for his job. I think the Washington coach and and the Giants coach I think they’re fine. In fact, the Giants coach is being praised for the team rallying around him and for the team doing so well lately. So you know the Giants coaches, okay, Washington coaches, okay, riverboat. Ron is just, uh, you gotta love him, you know, fighting cancer and all that stuff. But uh, yeah, Peterson needs a win or for his job. True.

Santiago Leon
He’s on the line and FC North I think we can all agree the packers are gonna win it. Don’t think another team in that division will make the playoffs unless Joe wants the button and say the Vikings are gonna make it I know they will

Joe Toscano
fight. He has a right there. They’re only a game behind. They’re there. They’re the first team out right now in the NFC playoffs. So I mean, it’s very possible. We’ll see. I mean, that it’s basically they’re right on the heels of Arizona that when Arizona had yesterday was

Santiago Leon
huge for them. Kirk Cousins digs like going on. NFC South the saints have clinched that division, the Buccaneers I think the Buccaneers could win out in December. What do you think

Joe Toscano
it’s possible if if Tampa got everything, you know, they got their their house in order if they got everything, you know, working again, they could they could win out but I mean, right right now they’re the number six seed so I mean, they should make the playoffs. But you know, the best they could do is is basically the five seat and their A game behind the car.

Santiago Leon
And Tom Brady really wanted to be first because he’s used to having home field advantage and everything.

Joe Toscano
Yeah, yeah. But that means that again, this year home field advantage means nothing

Santiago Leon
through the fans. NFC West the Rams are first Seahawks. Second, Cardinals. Third, Niners. Last, obviously, those top three are competing for spots. How do you see these things shuffling out?

Joe Toscano
I mean, the NFC West can have three teams make the playoffs? Yeah, really impressive. And I mean, the 49 or is at five and eight. They’re kind of out of it, but they’re strong team too. So you know, make pro maybe the other the strongest divisions in football or the NFC West and the AFC North. And so, you know, RAMs, and Seahawks nine and four. We’ll see how that goes. Rams are looking really good. When you have that awesome defense Aaron, Donald Jalen Ramsey, or maybe the two of the best at their position. The Rams offense just has to be good enough. They could win a lot of games.

Santiago Leon
And that is our NFL week 14. Sunday recap, because there’s only there’s also one game tonight, which is the Ravens and the browns, two teams that Joe is very familiar with. And Joe did say who might win tonight but give us a score.

Joe Toscano
See, this is tough because my two favorite teams. my three favorite teams in football are the Steelers, whoever plays the Ravens and whoever plays the browns. I hate both of those seems so bad. So I hope for maybe a tie or something like that. But no, seriously, I want the Ravens to win so that the Steelers could win the AFC North. And it kills me to say that because I hate them so much. But still, I think the Ravens are gonna win because I think they’re gonna win with our defense and I Your defense is going to confuse and stop the Browns offense.

Santiago Leon
Now tell us a little like what the Ravens is, as everyone recovered from COVID. Will we see an 18? Tonight? What have you heard?

Joe Toscano
I believe so. I believe they’re they’re all recovered from that. And I know Lamar Jackson’s playing, and yeah, I think I think that’d be fine. And Joe,

Santiago Leon
I do think they’re certainly capable of being the Cleveland Browns in Cleveland.

Joe Toscano
Yeah, yeah. I mean, it. It’s thanks when there’s no fans, like, especially like when the Steelers played the bells last night and an empty stadium that was kind of sad. So, you know, and Cleveland, you know, Cleveland finally has a good record and they don’t have any fans in the stands to enjoy it. So that kind of stinks. But still, it’s a is going to be a really good game. You know, which is which is rare, but you could say about a Monday Night Football game usually. This is gonna be intense and it’s going to be in a lot. You sold me?

Santiago Leon
I really think I’m gonna watch the full game tonight.

Unknown Speaker
Oh, it’s gonna be good.

Santiago Leon
I agree. I think it’s gonna be you know, I’m gonna go with Joe because I want to make things interesting. In the NFL. And if the Ravens win it it’ll be interesting. If they don’t nothing ravens are out but it’s gonna be an interesting challenge for them. Anyways, it’s tonight 8:20pm on ESPN. Monday Night Football with no state with no fans and Cleveland Ohio. And Question of the day on your via like our Twitter account. What is your favorite Christmas movie? The options are home alone the Santa Claus jingle all the way or Christmas vacation Joe? which one of these is your favorite Christmas movie?

Unknown Speaker
Keep the change it filthy animal.

Santiago Leon
I love you. I freakin that is the greatest Christmas movie of all time. I could watch that movie every day. till Christmas. 25 Days of Christmas. I watch that. And not everyone agrees with Joe or I Christmas vacation is winning at 50% second place home alone. Then jingle all the way and Tim Allen’s Santa Claus.

Unknown Speaker
Did you know that that that old time movie in home alone is actually not a movie? It’s just something they made up? I just found that I thought,

Santiago Leon
oh my gosh.

Joe Toscano
Yeah, that’s not excellent old movie. It’s just something they made up.

Santiago Leon
I had a feeling that was and I think some guy told me years ago, and I totally forgot. It’s like, well, he’s probably lying. But once Joe said it all comes together. Share your circle. No wonder because I was like, I was wondering like, What movie was that? And no way. My mom would have told me Yeah, maybe I you know, I used to watch as a kid. No, I never happened. Interesting. I have to do an article about that. And maybe get ranked high in Google. Anyways, Joe, what is the best way to reach you to figure out either that they should buy a Steelers hat or Steeler winter hat.

Joe Toscano
I am on Twitter Joey bag of doughnuts been seven f there’s gonna be a lot a lot of sadness. A lot of a lot of sadness. I actually I actually had to take a walk last night and just just, you know, contemplate life because things were so bad turning that game. And also, I had to get away from Chris Collins worth but I hate that guy’s guts and he really got on my nerves.

Santiago Leon
He was trending on Twitter last night. I wasn’t saying anything crazy.

Joe Toscano
He didn’t say anything crazy. Um, a couple weeks ago, he said he said something like, I can’t believe Steelers. female fans are so knowledgeable or something like that. He got in trouble for that. But he

Santiago Leon
was right. I remember that.

Joe Toscano
He’s just generally annoying. That’s that’s Chris Collinsworth. Interesting.

Santiago Leon
Yeah. Interesting. That is I guess he’s not a Steelers fan.

Joe Toscano
Well, he doesn’t he generally doesn’t say things about the Steelers. But last night he was like basically fawning all over Josh Allen. He either he loves Josh Allen, Patrick mahomes. And, and Aaron Rodgers. Whenever those guys play, and he’s on that game, he just Oh, just just non stop praise for those guys like Dude, get over it. He becomes a groupie.

Santiago Leon

Two, three more weeks left, there is a week at neutral, no nuclear week, if anything happens with COVID but I think NFL is gonna avoid that like the plague literally.

Joe Toscano
Yeah. If they were gonna do it, they were gonna do it during that whole Steelers ravens fiasco. And you know, they often not to so they’re not going to do that. But uh, yeah, thanks for having me on. This is my favorite time of the year. I love talking about stuff like this NFL playoff scenarios. This is my jam,

Santiago Leon
and talking about home alone. So yes, definitely. And I bet the cast were I mean, the the characters in the show are probably bears fans.

Unknown Speaker
Probably Yeah.

Santiago Leon
