The Texans have signed former New England running back Rex Burkhead.
Burkhead, 30, is entering his ninth season. He played his first four seasons with Cincinnati and his past four with New England.
In 2020, his last season with the Patriots, Burkhead rushed for 274 yards and three touchdowns. He caught 25 passes, including three for touchdowns.
